Kimberly's "Trash the Dress" session

Kimberly married Michael on September 9, 2008 at a beautiful vineyard
in Yadkinville, NC by the name of Hanover Park Vineyard. Amy & Michael
Helton are the owners and if you ever get a chance for a day trip to
taste some excellent wines, this is the place to go.

One year later Kimberly decided she wanted to do a TTD session to
celebrate their one year anniversary and we were thrilled.

So we packed our camera gear and off we went to meet Kimberly,
Michael, and Billy on a gorgeous, sunny, fall day. (Billy is their 9 yr. old lab)

Thank you Kimberly for being so much fun and such a great model, to
Michael and Billy for putting up with our silliness, and to Amy &
Michael for their splendid hospitality.

Elizabeth & Jason's Wedding, Charlotte City Club

Elizabeth & Jason got married at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church uptown and had their reception just down the road at the Charlotte City Club.
They got married on Nov. 7th so it was already dark when the ceremony was over. However, a night shot with the city in the background works!

Megan & Kristian's E-session!

Megan & Kristian are too cute! They were a little camera shy at first but eased up after a bit. Well, I take that back..Kristian didn't seem camera shy at all. He was all about it! I'm pretty sure he was sad when the shoot was over :)
We started off at a really cool comic book store..

Then we went just down the street to an adorable Christmas Tree lot off of 7th st.

Meredith & Sterling's Wedding, Charlotte, NC

Meredith & Sterling are that cool quirky couple that you see walking
down the street and you think to yourself, "I want to be friends with
them!" They have their own language and style that others are sure to
follow.

Sterling wrote a love letter to Meredith in her middle school yearbook
but they didn't actually date until high school. Soon thereafter they
became high school sweethearts.

They were married at Myers Park Baptist by Sterling's uncle Reverend
Bruce Jones, and they had their beautiful backyard reception at
Meredith's relatives house. A special thank you to Kathy and Andy
Withrow.

A special shout out to all the other great vendors that we worked
with: That Lulu, Elizabeth House Flowers, Laura's Bakery, and DJ Dan.
It is always a pleasure!

Meredith is an aesthetician with Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center
of Charlotte, and Sterling (a big congrats to you by the way) is a
financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

A big thanks to you, to your families, and to your friends, for
allowing us to be a part of your special celebration!







Meredith has our kind of style ... she bought her gown at J Majors Bridal, her shoes: Oscar de la Renta, she wore her grandmother's blue sapphire ring, and she borrowed her cousin Madison's pearl earrings! Her bridesmaids gowns: BCBG (one of our fave design houses).

Jane & Adam got married in Hilton Head, SC on October 31st! The weather in Hilton Head that day was perfect for a barefoot wedding on the beach with only their closest friends and family.

Quynh & Keith's Wedding, Byron's Southend

Quynh and Keith met at City Tavern (one of our favorite places in the
Queen City) years ago and they have been an item ever since. On the
night of their first meeting, Keith asked Quynh for her telephone
number and she would not give it to him! Five separate occasions
later, Quynh finally gave in and allowed Keith to have her number. The
rest is history in the making.

Quynh is a 6th grade science teacher. Keith is in corporate
professional services and he is a triathlete. And, we learned on the
night of their wedding, holy guacamole can they both dance! In fact,
we are fairly certain they would win "So You Think You Can Dance" in
a heartbeat.

A special shout out to co-ordinator and friend of the bride and groom,
Ronnie Fairclough. Also to our friends at Byron's Southend where they
did a bang up job on the ceremony and the reception!
